Great Show, great recording - found it to be highly entertaining, a positively head bobbin', foot tappin' good time.

The raspy voice girl that insisted on not shutting up had me pretty incensed, though. The thing that annoys me more is that after getting a pretty good mental image of what she must look like, I came to the decision that she's not even hot...and that only makes it ten times worse. Someone should give her a recording of this so she can see how dumb she sounded. The dude she's with sounded pretty lame, too, based on his yells.

Steve is a former "Jazz Farmer" which was Marco's group prior to The Duo.

Subject: AWESOME TIME
Great show! Didn't know much about the duo before seeing the show, but they rocked. DOn't know how to describe them, I thought they were a lot like Soulive, but my friends dissagree. Mike was ridiculous as usual. Mike was also generous enough to sign autographs during the set break! My show was kinda sucky though, because I turn 21 in March, and got caught drinking a bud right before the second set. So the only two songs I missed before sneakin' in of course were lengthwise and FOAM, God Dammit! But the rest of the show was awesome. Another must have show for listeners. Mike's was unreal! Great time, hope Mike collaberates more with the duo!

Subject: Guitarist
The unknown guitarist who has the weekly Matt Murphy's gig is probably Geoff Scott of Miracle Orchestra and Club d'Elf fame. He and Marco have collaborated in the past. However, in listening the guitar tone doesn't sound like Geoff so maybe its Johnie Trama or someone else from Boston, dunno. By the way, this show is nasty! Different Duo than what I'm used to but excellent playing.

- and when your gone I sleep diagonal in my bed.
